Gloucester vs Castres: After a strong performance last time out at the Ricoh Arena, the big tests come thick and fast as the Cherry and Whites return to the top table of European rugby for the first time in five seasons.
Gloucester vs Castres Live
Returning straight back into the starting lineup this weekend, the second row is primed and ready for action after an injury suffered in August. His defensive work rate will be key, in what will be a huge forward battle against the French Champions.
Another star of Cherry and White returning from injury, the Kiwi-born flyer is named on the wing for his first appearance of the season this weekend. Marshall will be part of the high tempo that Gloucester will try to keep, and threatening the stubborn Castres defence.
The scrum half has been at the top of the European game for some time now, and possesses bags of big-game experience from his time with Clermont Auvergne. He will be keen to marshall his side around the pitch, and poses a threat around the fringes.
Laveau scored twice at Kingsholm when in Bayonne colours two seasons ago, and knows where the try-line is. Backed this week ahead of the experienced David Smith, he will be one to keep a close eye on in Castres colours.
